At Williston, our Theatre/Drama classes allow students to practice onstage acting, improvisation, choreography, singing, and more!
Theatre classes at WMS are known as "Creative Dramatics" and are year-long elective courses. In the Fall, we explore "straight plays" and in the Spring we explore musicals.
We have bi-annual performances, in the Winter and Spring. We put on a "Day of One Acts", three one-act plays, in the Winter, and a Musical Theatre Showcase, a cabaret of different musical theatre selections, in the Spring.
Students interested in Technical Theatre are welcome to join the class to support the performances if discussed with Ms. Hamlet prior to signing up for the class.
