Hi, Cool Cat families! This is my second full year of teaching at Wrightsboro Elementary School and I am so happy to be back! I've been a school media coordinator (aka school librarian) for roughly ten years and cannot imagine myself in any other field. I earned my bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Charleston and, a bit later, graduated with a master's degree in library science, specializing in school libraries, from North Carolina Central University. I am originally from West Virginia, but moved to Carolina Beach seventeen years ago with my saintly spouse and our adorable children, who are, supposedly, all grown up. I am a cat person, but my Corgi, Prudence, rules my world. I enjoy reading, going to the beach, shopping for books, and reading on the beach. I also spend a lot of time catering to my Corgi.
