District C.
District C is a program that partners with business owners (locally & abroad) in an effort to "solve" a real-time problem that the business is having. So where do the students fit in? The students are put into groups for each business, and each student group will pitch a solution to their business partner at a predetermined date and time. This will be their final project!

7th Grade students, this year, will have an opportunity to go through mock interviews that simulate what a real interview would be like. This means students will have to dress up in appropriate interview attire. Be it a business suit for the ladies, or shirt and tie for the fellas, this experience will equip them for the professional workforce.

6th Grade students are on "the wheel", which means that, save for orchestra & band, they will take every elective Myrtle Grove has to offer! Particularly for my class, I will introduce the students to a host of activities (those listed above) that will prepare them for my class should they decided to take it in the 7th and 8th grade. Students final project will be them creating a business and bringing in a prototype of said business to "pitch" to investors (such as the show Shark Tank).
