AP Seminar is a course designed to help students explore real-world issues from multiple perspectives. Students learn to ask questions, research effectively, and evaluate information carefully so they can build strong, evidence-based arguments.
In this class, we’ll approach AP Seminar through a science lens, focusing on the theme of justice. We'll dive into topics like climate justice and food justice, using science to understand and explore the impacts of these issues on communities and the environment. Another important theme we’ll study is health justice—examining how access to healthcare, clean water, and safe environments can vary based on geography, income, or policy.
Throughout the year, students will think critically, collaborate with others, and develop their voice as a thoughtful researcher and communicator.
