Teacher Information

Hello! I am Mrs. Stephanie Titzel and I have been teaching Science for the past 19 years. I received my Bachelor's degree in Biology from NC State University and my Master's degree in Curriculum, Instruction and Supervision from UNCW. I am National Board Certified in Science, and was named a NC State University Kenan Fellow in 2016. My Kenan Fellowship project was based on Aquaculture and Oysters in NC. I was the 2017 North Carolina Ag Teacher of the Year, and I love to travel across the state to work with other teachers in other districts. I was one of the NHCS teachers of the year in 2020. 

I grew up in Wilmington and this community has a very special place in my heart.
