Ms. Carla Sorrell
I am a North Carolina native, born in Raleigh, NC and grew up in Apex, NC. I taught math and science in Wake County to begin my teaching career after graduating from Meredith College with a bachelor's in mathematics with middle school licensure. In addition, I earned my master's degree in education from East Carolina University. I recently bought land and built a house in Burgaw, NC. I am excited about this next chapter of my life in Eastern North Carolina, and especially at Holly Shelter Middle. In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones including my pets!
Welcome Hurricane's to the 2025-2026 school year!!
