English IV

Welcome to English IV!

I am excited to be teaching your final English class of your high school career. I also look forward to supporting you on your journey to graduation and beyond! 

• In Honors English IV and English IV, we will cover Literature and Language, ranging across genres, and master a list of 121 high-frequency words. There will be a variety of ways we critically analyze, respond to, and discuss texts and current events. We will also learn/practice the steps for research, and complete the required research project and speech.

• All students are assigned a school laptop. These laptops must be brought to class every day, either charged or with the charger. We will have a Google Classroom for students to reference and turn in some assignments, and students will be using the laptops daily. No extra laptops are provided, so please bring it every day!
