Welcome to English IV!
I am excited to be teaching your final English class of your high school career. I also look forward to supporting you on your journey to graduation and beyond!
In Honors English IV and English IV, we will cover Literature and Language, ranging across genres, and master a list of 121 high-frequency words. There will be a variety of ways we critically analyze, respond to, and discuss texts and current events. We will also learn/practice the steps for research, and complete the required research project and speech.
All students are assigned a school laptop. These laptops must be brought to class every day, either charged or with the charger. We will have a Google Classroom for students to reference and turn in some assignments, and students will be using the laptops daily. No extra laptops are provided, so please bring it every day!
A course syllabus for English IV and H. English IV will be reviewed the first day of class and are also linked below.
