Hello! My name is Sarah Bolton.
I grew up in Huntsville, Alabama, but have lived in many different places due to my military family background, schooling, and job opportunities. My husband, Brett, and I have been married for 16 years, and we have two wonderful children—Gunner (8) and Bonnie (6)—as well as a yellow lab named Charlie.
I graduated from Auburn University (War Eagle!) in 2008 with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies, and earned my Master’s in Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2010, with a dual license in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education. Over the past twelve years, I’ve had the joy of teaching in a variety of settings, including special education, kindergarten, first grade, and second grade.
I love living in Wilmington! You’ll often find me near the water—whether it’s on the boat, walking the beach searching for shells, or simply enjoying the view. I also enjoy listening to live music, doing craft projects and machine embroidery, watching Auburn football, baking, hiking, and reading. If I could, I’d happily drink coffee and eat Mexican food, ice cream, and chocolate chip cookies every single day.
I truly love teaching and am excited to get to know each of you this year!
