Paige Kyle-Haney AHS Business

Hailing from the beautiful state of West Virginia, I moved to Wilmington, NC in 2008 with my family. I began teaching at Eugene Ashley High School in August of 2008 as a lateral entry teacher. Since that time I have taught mostly computer software classes such as the Microsoft IT Academy, Digital Communications, and Multimedia and Webpage Design.  In 2013 I earned my National Boards Certification for Career and Technical Education and renewed in 2022. In 2017 I earned my Masters in Business Information Technology Education from East Carolina University.  While here at Ashley I have served as a member of the School Improvement Team,  adviser for National Technical Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America  and as a Beginning Teacher Mentor.  Beginning in the spring of 2017 I was asked to be a cluster lead teacher for high school business education.  This new role has given me an opportunity to work with many other teachers in our high schools as an instructional leader.

My philosophy of education is that nobody wins when a child fails. As a teacher I try to reach each one of my student’s unique individual needs as a learner. Teaching students the art of learning is an endeavor we can all win from.
