TurnUp Youth Civic Engagement
TurnUp, a non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to increasing youth civic engagement is hiring high school students to serve as campus civic registration fellows. Fellows will perform a total of 1-2 hours of work over the course of 2 weeks to help register students to vote in their high school. The application link is here at bit.ly/hsvotes and the deadline for applications is rolling. This opportunity is fully remote and will engage students, either individually or on teams, to register voters at their high school. The time commitment is flexible and allows students to tailor their voter registration initiatives to the unique needs of their schools. Each student/team is trained by experienced organizers on voter registration, is sent all the materials they need to host a drive, and maintains direct contact with one of our staff supervisors throughout the process! Please see the fellowship application here. Here is a linked digital informational flyer In addition to the $100 stipend, this fellowship is a great opportunity for resume and skill building, as well as for receiving a valuable letter of recommendation. Since 2020, TurnUp has successfully supported thousands of students in registering their peers to vote, allowing them to grow to become more capable and responsible citizens. Beta members selected to serve as Civic Fellows will also receive 3 Beta Points.
