Welcome to Forest Hills global music!!

I am so excited to begin my 2nd year this fall with the incredible staff here at FHGE as your music teacher! I am ready to bring your kids into a world of music from all over the globe! We will be learning about music from many different cultures including our own; focusing on the importance of all styles and genres of music. We will begin in Africa, learning about the history, styles, instruments, singing, language, rhythm, and dancing from this great continent of 54 countries. Then we will proceed to travel abroad as we study other cultures throughout our world utilizing technology, solo and group performances, and music lessons following a high level of professional standards. We missed out on so much with Covid, so one of the things I am MOST excited about will be performances from all of my music classes. Every group will have the opportunity to exemplify on the stage what they are learning in my class. I'm excited to work with each of your children and look forward to seeing our school continue to excel in the arts!
