This is my seventh year at the Grove and in Wilmington. Originally born and raised in New Jersey, I eventually moved to Florida in search of warmer weather. I spent two years working on a steamboat on the Mississippi River before completing my bachelor’s degree at Florida Atlantic University. I taught in West Palm Beach for one year before moving to Cape Cod, Massachusetts where I spent five years teaching seventh grade inclusion. I earned my Master's Degree in Adaptive Curriculum from Fort Hays State University in 2012.

I have two sons and two dogs and we all enjoy going to the beach. I love to travel and spend time with friends and family. In my spare time I enjoy reading and watching movies.
