Welcome to 7th Grade! My name is Ms. Frye and I have the privilege of being your math teacher this year. A bit about me: I'm originally from New York, but I have lived in NC for the past 15  years. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Arab Studies and Mathematics from Davidson College (Go 'Cats!) and completed my Master of Arts in Teaching at NC State University (Go Pack!).  I've lived (and taught) in Lebanon, Jordan, and Nepal. I love to spend time with my dog, build legos, run, and solve puzzles.  

I expect students to work hard and I want them to feel successful in my class. If at any point you or your child feels like they are struggling or falling behind, please contact me via email or phone for extra help. The earlier we address concerns, the better! I regularly post videos, notes, and other helpful resources weekly in Google Classroom and in my Week at a Glance. Students can use these to get extra practice or study independently at home. My website also has study resources available for the entire year.   I am really looking forward to working with you and your family to ensure a wonderful 7th grade experience.
