I am so glad I get to work with the wonderful students and families of Laney High School for the 2026-2027 school year!  In addition to teaching math classes here at Laney, I also coach girls' JV and Varsity softball.  As a native Wilmingtonian, I am grateful to be a product of New Hanover County Schools and now a teacher in this awesome school system.  I went through NHCS at Eaton Elementary, Noble Middle, and Laney High!  I attended Guilford College to play collegiate softball and later transferred to UNCW to pursue my goal of becoming an educator.  This is my 8th year of teaching, previously working in Special Education at Williston Middle and Hoggard High, and Science Education at Trask Middle.  Outside of school, I like to spend time with my beautiful daughter, Sunny, husband, and dog, Harley.  I love coaching, cooking and crafting!  Looking forward to a great school year!
