This is a two credit course that prepares students to work with children from birth to twelve years of age in a childcare, preschool, and/or after school program setting. Students are encouraged to continue their education at a community college or university. Students will be receiving instruction in child care pertaining to:

Unit 1: Understand historical, theoretical, and philosophical foundations of the early childhood profession
