I believe that all students need an accepting and safe learning environment in order to make strides toward their academic and independent goals. I plan to create this type of climate in my classroom to meet the specific characteristics, needs, and learning styles of all learners in the classroom.

In SDA, we will follow the NC Extended Content Standards curriculum and work on goals and objectives found on student Individualized Education Plans (IEP).
