LA CLASE DE ESPAÑOL
LA CLASE DE ESPAÑOL
Bienvenidos a la Clase de Español
In our class, students will build a foundation in the Spanish language by exploring key concepts in grammar, vocabulary, and conversation—always suited to their level. Along the way, we’ll also take a cultural journey through various Spanish-speaking countries, learning about their traditions, food, music, and daily life. My goal is to create an engaging and supportive environment where students feel confident using Spanish both inside and outside the classroom.
About me
I graduated from UNCW this 2023. This is my third year teaching, but it’s not my first time at AHS. I graduated from Ashley High School in 2018 and returned as a Student Teacher in the spring of 2023. Now, I’m excited to be back once again—this time as a full-time teacher.
I’m originally from Aguascalientes, Mexico, and moved to the United States at the age of 16. I learned English right here at Ashley HS, which gave me first-hand experience of what it’s like to learn a new language—the challenges, frustrations, and breakthroughs. That journey has shaped the way I teach today: I aim to make language learning as approachable, enjoyable, and engaging as possible.
