About Me:

My name is Kelly Guzman, I graduated from UNCW in 2016 with my Bachelor's in Literature with an add-on Secondary Teaching License. I started my teaching career as a high school English teacher and taught for five years at the high school level in Brunswick, Pender, and New Hanover County schools. In 2022, I made a change and started teaching middle school ELA at Holly Shelter. I have loved this switch to middle school and have not looked back since! This is now my fourth year at Holly Shelter, the best middle school  in NHC ;) 

Besides teaching, I enjoy reading for fun with my book club, taking walks with my two pups, spending time with my husband and son at the park, and trying new restaurants in the area on the weekends.
