Welcome back! I’m Mrs. Hoffmier and I am super excited for the great school year ahead! Here is a little about me. I grew up in South Carolina. I have a BA in Science from College of Charleston. Right out of college, I became a Park Ranger on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Asheville for 4 years.  I met my husband there and we moved to Wilmington where I got my teaching certificate in middle grades Science.  This will be my 20th year teaching in NHCS. My husband, Jamie, and I have  3 amazing children (Emma-14, Thomas- 12, and Lila- 9)   We love the outdoors and spent a lot time embracing the wonders of nature in the oceans, rivers, lakes, forest, and the mountains. Looking forward to a fun year!
