Hello! I am Mrs. Graves and I am so excited for our year together in third grade! This is my 4th year being an Awesome Admiral. I have previously been a long term substitute in many different grade levels. My students know that I believe in them and that they are capable to doing amazing things. My favorite part about teaching is building relationships with my kids. It is very important for my students to care about one another and want each other to succeed.

I was born in Wilmington, NC. After high school, I went to Cape Fear Community College and got my associates degree. Right after CFCC, I went to UNCW to finish my teaching career. I am an animal lover and have one dog; Waffles and two cats who are sisters; Lilly and Winnie.  They are all rescue animals and are spoiled rotten! I love to draw and spend time with my friends and family. I am also recently married since May 19, 2022 and I was blessed with a baby boy named Zayne on July 4th, 2024.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Fine Arts from UNCW. 

 I am looking forward to begin this exciting journey with you and your child. It is going to be a great year!
