Welcome! I am Mrs. Smith and this is my fifth year at Holly Shelter. I am so excited to be here with you all. 

I grew up in the mountains of Asheville, NC. I attended UNC-Wilmington where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Biology. Later, I received my Master's Degree in Public Health with a concentration in Community Health Education. I worked as a health educator in a senior center for 3 years before realizing I loved education and changing careers. 

I love spending time with my husband, our 5-year old daughter, 2 dogs and 1 cat. You can find me outdoors, in the garden, hunting for sharks teeth at the beach, baking, or reading in my spare time. I love Tar Heel basketball, Chick-fil-a, and coffee!
