About Me

A little about me: I grew up in Southern Pennsylvania. I went to Penn State (Go Lions!!!) and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Information Science and Technology and a minor in French. In 2012 I graduated from Messiah College with my teaching certification in Health and PE. I then taught Health and PE at a middle school in Southern Pennsylvania.

My husband and I moved down to the Wilmington area the summer of 2015. I started working at Holly Shelter Middle School that Fall and just left Spring 2020 in order to teach here at Porters Neck! We have a son, Torin who was born in April of 2016 and a daughter, Brecken who was born in April of 2018. As a family we love heading to the beach, going running, weight lifting, doing yoga, and going on adventures!
