My name is Amanda Cassetta and this is my first year as a Carolina Beach SeaStar!  I am so happy to be here!  I have been teaching for 24 years, having taught 1st and 2nd grades, as well as served as a Media Specialist.  My family moved to Wilmington in the summer of 2022 from Thomasville, NC, and we love it here!  I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters, ages 12 and 17.  I'm thrilled to be your child's teacher this year!  It's going to be an awesome year in first grade!
