What to expect: During this class your will be doing written classwork and hands-on labs. You will be required to have and maintain a notebook for your assignments. The notebook will be checked periodically by uploading and image of your most recent work in Canvas. This will typically be before every quiz. This will mean maintaining good organizational skills. The notebook will be brought to class everyday in order to add your daily assignments in as well as taking notes. It will be very important to write and keep your notes as the midterm and final exams are cumulative.
Final Semester Grade

Second nine weeks grade 50%
Make up Work: Regular attendance is very important. However, if you miss a day, you are required to make up the work. Work you miss due to an absence should be completed and turned in within one week of the day missed. Missed quizzes must be made up during FLEX time as scheduled by the teacher.
Late Work: Work will lose 5 points per day for every day that it is late, down to a grade of 60. This does not mean that you are guaranteed a grade of 60 for late work, but it means that after 4 days late, 60 is the highest grade you would receive for a perfect paper. After work is more than one week late, the grade will be recorded in Canvas as a zero.
