Middle School Transition 2022

Parents/Guardians and Rising 6th Grade Students:

Starting middle school is a very exciting time for students and parents; we are working hard to ensure your transition to middle school is as smooth as possible. This website provides important information, both general to all NHCS rising 6th grade students and specific to your child's assigned middle school:

• General Registration Info - information regarding school assignment options, open choice applications, band/orchestra and athletic links.

• Off to Middle School Nights - each middle school will host an informational session for rising 6th graders during the week of April 18-22.

• Family Life Education - information pertaining to the FLE programs offered in NHCS; please review the "Topics Covered in FLE" chart in addition to the individual FLE program descriptions to make a course selection that is best for you and your child.

• Individual Middle School Information - helpful resources and links to each middle school that will assist you in learning more about the school and their elective course offerings.
