The Digital Resource Collection (DRC) is continually updated as products and educational needs change. "
The information below will walk you through the steps to request the use of a digital reource.
First, make sure the resource is not already on the NHCS Learn Platform. Click the LearnPlatform button to the left.
If the digital resource is not in our LearnPlatform data bank, the teacher will need to complete the the request form. The information will be shared with the Laney's Media & Technology Advisory Committee for review.

Is this resource appropriate for the requested grade level/audience?
Are students required to sign in?
Are there other resources being used in our school that perform the same function?
If this resource is a content specific resource, is it aligned with the content standards listed in the teacher request form.
If this resource is a digital tool: Is it current? Is it free of errors? Is it free of bias? And, which of the 4Cs does it promote?
Are we purchasing this resource or using a free version? If purchasing, will Title I funds be used?
Do we approve this resource for use in our school?
Record summary of decision and outcome of vote in MTAC minutes.
If MTAC approves the request, the committee will submit the request to the district.
