About Me

Welcome to Mrs. Bennett's Science Class! 

Here is a little more about me. I am originally from Nashville, TN and moved to Wilmington in 2017. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology from the College of Charleston and  Master of Arts in Teaching for Middle Grades Science from UNC Wilmington.  I am married to the bearded wonder Coach Bennett, a PE teacher at Murray Middle and we have a rambunctious 5 year old son and a spunky 3 year old daughter at home.  We are die hard animal lovers and are the proud owners of several aquariums of fish. Besides animals, I love all things science, especially geeking out about new discoveries. If you find an interesting creature or hear about some cool new science fact, I would love to know!
