PROM TICKETS SALES
Tickets will be on sale for 3 weeks. The first week seniors and their guests only. Weeks 2 and 3 are open to juniors and their guests.
Seniors:
You can start purchasing tickets April 15th in room 217 before school, during flex, or during 4th block. You can buy tickets in room 135 during C lunch, Flex, or after school. Tickets are $45 for all seniors. You need to allow 2 school days for guest forms to be approved! Guest ticket prices are listed below.
Juniors & Guests:
Week 2 to purchase: April 22-26- $55
Week 3 to purchase: April 29-May 3- $65

Tickets are $45 for all seniors. You need to allow 2 school days for guest forms to be approved! This could change the cost of your tickets! For example, if you turn in a guest form on April 26th, it will not be approved until April 30th, to where you will have to pay the $65.
There is another opportunity to purchase tickets in the morning before school in room 217 (Mrs. Sterken) if this works better for your schedule. She will sell tickets from 8:00-8:30.
***If you are an EARLY GRADUATE, please fill out a Prom Guest Form (Workforce if you have a job-have your employer fill it out, or the Non-Laney Student Guest Form if you are enrolled at CFCC, UNCW or another college) and turn it into Ms. Jewell in room 135. I will make sure everything is handled while you are here on campus.
ATTENDANCE- If you have 10 or more unexcused absences, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND PROM PER ADMINISTRATION! Please email Mr. Little if you have any questions.
NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AFTER SCHOOL ON FRIDAYS!!!!

Prom Ticket Prices
Guidelines
Senior Tickets:
1st Week: $45
(Can be purchased between April 15th- May 3rd)
Junior & Guest Tickets:
2nd week: $55
(Can be purchased April 22-26)
3rd week: $65
(Can be purchased April 29th- May 3)
**No tickets will be sold AFTER May 3rd! No exceptions!***
Ticket Information
Each junior/senior may purchase up to two tickets. Guests must be at least a sophomore and no older than 20; they do not have to attend Laney High School. All guests, regardless of whether they currently attend LHS or not, must have a completed guest form, including the fine clearance section.
Seniors will have one week to purchase tickets before sales open up to juniors.
There are NO REFUNDS. If you buy a ticket, you have a ticket. And no, you cannot sell them to a classmate. Your name will be written on them.
You MUST have ALL fines/due bills cleared before you can purchase a ticket. You need to check with the front office, the cafeteria, and the library to make sure you have paid all fines.
If you are purchasing a ticket for a Laney student, you must make sure he/she also has all of his/her fines cleared with the school beforehand.
You must also be in good standing with the school. Students with excessive referrals and absences will not be permitted to attend.
In order to get into prom, you must...
+ Have a ticket and picture ID. Really. We check your ID against the prom guest list to make sure your ticket number matches the name and the name matches the face.
+ Dress appropriately. This is a formal event. If your clothing choices are determined to be too casual, too revealing, or otherwise inappropriate, you may be refused admission. If you would like to make sure your dress/attire of choice is okay, check with Ms. Jewell before purchasing it.
+ Understand that your purse/bag will be checked as a standard security measure.
+ Not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Each student will be breathalyzed before entry. Anyone under the influence will be refused admission and turned over to authorities.
