Hello and welcome! My name is Justin Bradley. I am a Health/PE teacher as well as the Head Varsity Baseball Coach here at Laney High School. This will be my 4th year here at Laney as well. I am thoroughly looking forward to working with this staff, students and community involved.
Wilmington born and raised. I graduated from Ashley High School in 2007 and then attended UNCW on a baseball scholarship. Played for Mark Scalf at UNCW from 2008-2011, where I was a pitcher for the baseball team. Baseball is my passion as I am a diehard New York Yankees fan. I graduated from UNCW with a degree in Physical Education and a minor in Community Health.
I have been teaching for 10 years. Most of my career I have been at South Brunswick High School. There, I was ISS Coordinator, PLATO/Credit Recovery Teacher, and Health/PE teacher for 5 years. Also, at South Brunswick I coached in multiple positions in Men's/Women's Basketball and Varsity Baseball assistant. I spent the year 2021-2022 as the Head Varsity Basketball Coach at South Brunswick after being an assistant for 5 years. The past 3 years I have been the Head Coach for the Baseball Program here at Laney High School.
When I am not coaching or teaching I love spending my time with my family. My fiancée Jenna is a graduate of Laney High School, and I hope my daughter Leightyn, will be able to attend this prestigious school in years to come.
Again, I am looking forward to getting started on this journey! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
