This is my 1st year at Laney High, but it is my 22nd year teaching. I have also been teaching at the college level for 11 years. I live in Carolina Beach and am loving my improved active lifestyle. I have a B.A. in Psychology (Grove City College, PA) and my teaching certification is in Math and Psychology (Saginaw Valley State University, MI). I have a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction (Eastern Michigan University) and an Education Specialist (EdS) degree from the University of West Florida. I will graduate with my Education Doctorate (EdD) in Curriculum and Assessment in December 2025, also from the University of West Florida. I have 2 sons, 2 step-daughters, and a wonderful husband. In my spare time, my husband and I sing karaoke!
