Welcome to Holly Shelter Middle School! 

Hello and welcome to Holly Shelter Middle School! I am Ms. Liston, and I am excited to be the 7th grade school counselor for the 2024-2025 school year! At Holly Shelter Middle School, the counselors loop with their students, which means I will be working with the class of 2030 for their entire middle school experience.

I moved to Wilmington in 2017 after graduating from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, with my Master's degree in Education and license in school counseling. I am passionate about working with students, and taking an active part in helping them learn and grow. I want school to be a place where students feel excited to go everyday, which is why I encourage all students to get involved! Here at Holly Shelter we offer many clubs, sports, and activities for students to take part in. I believe the more students get involved, the more they will learn to love school. I also encourage all of my students to find at least one staff member that they trust, which should be easy, because Holly Shelter has an amazing team of staff members! It is my goal to create a sense of community within our school to help each student feel included and find success!

When I am not at Holly Shelter I am usually hanging out with my golden retriever, Charlie. Also, despite my love for Wilmington, I remain a loyal New England Patriots fan. I also love roller coasters, Disney movies, traveling, music, and Harry Potter!
