The SEA-Tech Intership is designed to engage students in Work-Based Learning, which promotes the transition from school to the real world. All SEA-Tech students are expected to complete an internship by their senior year. Please note, to receive a CTE course credit, an internship requires 120 hours of hands-on, real world learning.
SEA-Tech students are required to complete a qualifying internship through one of the following pathways:
Cape Fear Community College Work-Based Learning/Certificate area
In-house SIDs Coffee Bar - Team of 12 M
Mondays - Thursdays - 5th and 6th Block
Spark Teamship (by invitation) - See Mrs. Toothman
Other in-house options may be available upon request
Any of the pathways above will meet the SEA-Tech requirement. However, it is important to note that 120 hours of qualifying hands-on, real-world learning are required to receive a CTE Internship course credit.
