The Teacher

With over 22 years of teaching experience, I’ve had the opportunity to work with learners of all ages in a variety of settings. My teaching journey has included middle school, high school, adult continuing education, online education, homeschooling, English as a Second Language (ESL), and even swimming instruction.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Information Systems from Appalachian State University. I also earned my teacher licensure in Business and Marketing Education through East Carolina University.

Throughout my career, I’ve taught a wide range of business subjects and have been teaching computer science courses since 2010. While I’ve enjoyed every stage of education, I’ve found a special connection working with middle school students and helping them build a strong foundation for future success.
