About Me

Hello! My name is Veronica Hulin. I am a 23 year teaching veteran. I have always loved reading and Language Arts. I am a graduate of New Hanover High School, "Go Wild Cats!!!!", UNCW, Grand Canyon University, and Gardner Webb University. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Professional and Creative Writing , a Masters degree in Reading Instruction, and an add-on certificate for Educational administration. I am certified to teach Middle Grades Language Arts as well as high school English. I enjoy working with middle schoolers. I have seventeen years of experience as an eighth grade teacher, five years as a sixth grade teacher, and one year of seventh grade experience. I even have a year of being a Kindergarten teacher assistant. By far, eighth grade is my favorite. I find that eighth graders are so much more in touch with their future and are curious enough about the world around them that they are willing to learn about more complex issues.

This school year, I will be serving as the 8th grade chairperson, the Parent Engagement Committee Chairperson, and the Williston Legacy Task Force Chairperson. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me or call me at 910-815-6906 ext.76619. I look forward to working with you and your student(s) this school year.
