About me:
My name is Mr. Zanelotti, but most students just call me "Mr. Z."
Although I've only been in North Carolina since January 2024, I've enjoyed every day so far. Prior to coming to JC Roe, I spent 20 years in the military as an Army artillery officer. I love being an educator for the same reasons I loved being in the military; both careers are important, challenging, and allow me to help other people every day.
I'm eager to help my students achieve their maximum potential and I look forward to working with them each day. I can't wait to see you in class!
My 2026-2027 schedule:
Homeroom (9:00-9:30 AM) - Morning duty
1st Block (9:30-10:30 AM) - Duty period
2nd Block (10:30-11:30 AM) - Planning period
3rd Block (11:30 AM-12:30 PM) - English 2
4th Block (12:30-1:30PM) - Lunch/Recess
12:30-1:00 PM - Recess
1:00-1:30 PM - Lunch
5th Block (1:30 - 2:30 PM) - High School Lab
6th Block (2:30 - 3:30 PM) - English 1
7th Block (3:30 - 4:00 PM) - Striving to Achieve Excellence (STAE)
