Meet the Coaches

Hi, I'm Coach Surface, and I’m proud to lead the girls flag football program here at Laney High School. My goal is to build a team where every player feels confident, supported, and excited to compete. I believe flag football is an incredible way to teach leadership, teamwork, and resilience. I’m committed to creating a program that players are proud to be part of.

Along with coaching, I teach Sports & Event Marketing at Laney and love being involved in projects that boost school spirit and student engagement. Whether it’s planning events, promoting games, or developing athletes, I’m all in when it comes to helping students grow both on and off the field. I’m excited about the future of our program and can’t wait to see what we accomplish together.
