My name is Julie Snodgrass and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! I am originally from New York, but moved to Wilmington for some warmer weather back in 2010. I was extremely fortunate to be hired at Pine Valley that same year. I began my career teaching in grades K & 1 and then moved to 5th grade in 2011. I have been teaching in the upper grade-levels ever since. I have a Master's Degree in Literacy and recently obtained my National Board Certification. I am married with two children--both boys! We also have a sweet pup named Zona. Our family loves being outdoors and are huge Disney fans! As always, I am looking forward to what this school year has to offer. I am confident that it will be an exciting and rewarding year. I love being a part of the growth and development of my students and can't wait to see what this year has in store!
