I am a native of North Carolina, originally from Wilkes County. I grew up with two amazing parents and one older sister. She is 26 (two years older than me) and is my absolute best friend. She has also recently accepted a teaching job with New Hanover County Schools.

I graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education and a minor in Sport Science and Coaching. I have always loved sports and being active, which is a huge part of why I wanted to become a physical educator. Shortly after I graduated, my sister and I decided to relocate to Wilmington (who doesn’t love the beach?). We fell in love with the area and have been here for a little over a year now.

I live in a house with my sister, our two dogs (Sasha and Nova), a close friend of ours named Emily, and her two cats (Oliver and Pickle). I guess it’s safe to say we love pets!
