About the teacher

I grew up in Cyprus and Hong Kong. 

I read Ancient and Medieval History at university and received both my MA and my Ph.D. from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. 

After a career in publishing that took me from London to Atlanta and back again, I sold my business and began teaching in inner city British schools. I returned to the USA in 2023.
