AP Calculus AB/BC

Class overview

Welcome to Coach Moody's AP Calculus class here at John T Hoggard High School! This has the potential to be unlike any other math class you have ever taken for a number of reasons. First and foremost, The Advanced Placement program offers college level math to high school students. Therefore you should expect a solid, fast-paced, intense, and rigorous course where we explore the idea of rates of change. During our first few days together, we evaluate our prerequisite knowledge, our goals and dreams, and decide if you will take Calculus AB or Calculus AB and BC. After that, both courses are taught simultaneously, in the same classroom at the same time! We will strive to develop a true learning community within the classroom as we tackle this incredibly challenging and rewarding class!
