My name is Erik Bron, and I have been on staff here at New Hanover since 2010, but in my 3rd full year of teaching in the Wildcat EC Department. I am in my 14th season as of the New Hanover Baseball coaching staff, and am a proud member of our Back-to-Back 3A State Championship teams in 2018 & 2019!
I am a wildcat through and through! My father was the chorus teacher here at NHHS for 20+ years (and very well may have taught your parents), and I played baseball and basketball here before graduating in 2005. I then attended North Carolina State University where I graduated in 2009 with a degree in Sport Management and a minor in Coaching Education. I received my Master's Degree in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University in 2016.
I have been happily married to my wife Carrie for 11 years, and we have 2 amazing boy's (Brooks who is 10 years old & Braylen who is 5 years old) who keep us busy 24/7. In my free time I love to draw, play golf, fish, try my hand at woodworking, and spend time with my family. I am a sports fanatic, and I'm a diehard Dallas Cowboys, UNC Tar heel and Atlanta Braves fan!
I look forward to getting to know each of you throughout the rest of the semester!
