NHCS Pre-K is a free educational experience that sparks a lifetime of learning, helping prepare students for their learning journey in kindergarten and beyond!

ARRIVAL/DISMISSAL TIMES AND PROCEDURES
7:00 Students are permitted on campus
7:30 Tardy Bell Rings
1:45 Bus and Child Care Vans are dismissed
1:45 Car Riders are dismissed
2:00 Walkers are dismissed
If the school district calls for a 2 hr. delay. PreK doesn't have school. If there is a 1/2 day scheduled PreK does not have school.
TRANSPORTATION CHANGES
Parents must communicate in writing to the teacher or front office all transportation changes. We do not accept changes over the phone.
Field Trip/Volunteer II:
Parents of currently enrolled students may be permitted to attend field trips for the purpose of assisting with chaperoning students. Siblings and students not enrolled at Howe are not permitted to attend the field trip. A Volunteer Level II shall be under the direction of a school staff member. Background checks will be required and volunteers will be required to pay for the background check.
