General Information
Welcome to the CBES media center!
Library hours are Monday-Friday from 7:20-2:30. All classes visit at least once weekly, and students may come anytime in between with teacher permission.
Students generally may check out between 1-3 books depending on grade level. There are no set due dates for returning books, however, please return as soon as students are finished with them so they will be available for others. I may send an "overdue" notice home if it has been an extended amount of time and/or if someone else is waiting for the book.
We have MANY reading resources to explore (check out the Student/Parent Resource tab), however, our school uses an online catalogue called Destiny Discover. Through Destiny Discover they can search for books, topics, or authors, see if books are available or checked out, and place holds.

Meet Mrs. Boos:
I am thrilled to begin my second year as Media Specialist this year in CB! Originally from Michigan, I have lived in Carolina Beach and taught at CBES for 16 years. I enjoy surfing, hiking, camping, spending time with my family, and of course READING! I'm looking forward to another exciting year with our sweet SeaStar students, staff, and families.
