Ms. Skinner

Hello!  My name is Ashley Skinner!  I am a PROUD mama!  My daughter, Keiley is studying at ECU, my son Mikko is studying at Arizona State University grade and my youngest son, Levi, is in kindergarten at Castle Hayne!   They truly are the loves of my life!  When we are not all having fun in school we are usually at the beach!  I am a Wilmington native who loves reading, travelling and being outdoors.  I really love my job!  I always knew I wanted to be a teacher, learning from the best teacher of all...my mom!  I graduated from UNCW with a degree in African history and then went on to earn my Masters of Arts in Teaching there as well!  I love learning about other cultures and enjoy visiting them with my own children.  I believe EVERY child has great potential and love helping them find it! Nothing makes me smile like seeing our kiddos "light bulb moments" and watching them dig into good reading books they enjoy!
