By 5 years: l, v, blends (such as st, pl, gr)
By 6 years: sh, ch, j, v
By 7 years: voiced th (as in “that”), and voiceless th (as in “thumb”)
By 8 years: r, vocalic r (as in “air”, “car”, and “for”...), ng, s, z, zh (as in “measure”)
