Clutches will generally fail slowly as they wear and tear over time.
The following signs may mean that your clutch is beginning to fail and may need replacing:
Your clutch sticks, vibrates, or is spongy when you press it;
You hear a grumbling or squeaking noise when you press the clutch pedal;
You can rev the engine, but acceleration is poor; or
It is difficult to shift gears.

To ensure the safety of yourself, your passengers, and other road users you must ensure your brakes are working to the best of their ability.
The following signs may mean that your brakes may need replacing:
You can hear screeching or squealing noises;
You can see that your brake pads are severely worn (less than 1/4 inch);
Your brake pedal is spongy or soft; or
Your car is pulling to one side when braking

You may wish for a Service to help identify potential problems ahead of time and ensure the vital components of your vehicle are reliable. If you keep a full service history for your vehicle you will receive benefits such as an increased resale value.
