Bucky's Tuition Promise (UW-Madison): https://financialaid.wisc.edu/types-of-aid/tuition-promise/ The program guarantees scholarships and grants to pay for tuition & segregated fees for students whose household adjusted gross income (AGI) is $56,000 or less. Incoming freshmen will receive eight (8) consecutive semesters (4 years) of free tuition & segregated fees and transfer students will receive four (4) semesters (2 years).
Hagan Scholarship Foundation: https://www.haganscholarships.org/ This scholarship is for high achieving, self-motivated students who require financial assistance to attend college. Each Hagan Scholarship provides up to $6,000 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters and includes a $15,000 Schwab Investment Account and fully paid Study Abroad Award. Engineers Foundation of Wisconsin Scholarships: http://www.wspe.org/efwi.shtml These scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors who plan to study engineering at a four-year ABET accredited program leading to a baccalaureate degree in engineering and intend to enter the profession of engineering upon graduation. FIRE Free Speech Essay Contest: www.thefire.org/contest High school juniors and seniors are eligible to participate in FIRE's essay contest. To enter, students must submit an essay between 800-1,000 words on the provided topic. One $10,000 first prize, one $5,000 second prize, and three $1,000 runner-up prizes will be awarded for the best essays. Four $500 winners will be chosen from the remaining entrants in a drawing. FIRE will accept essay contest entries through December 31, 2018. Winners will be notified by January 31, 2019.

Wisconsin Sports Awards Contest: www.cousinssubs.com/scholarship Cousins Subs is honoring WIAA high school senior athletes who demonstrate academic excellence, sports leadership, and community involvement with a chance to win a scholarship for continuing education. Applicants will be judged on the basis of academics, leadership skills, community service and financial need. Over $39,000 in scholarships are awarded annually to food science, culinary arts and hospitality management students across the state. You must be accepted at a nationally accredited, post-secondary school and complete the online application. The application deadline is April 1, 2019.
Ab Nicholas Scholarship: https://abnicholasscholars.org/ The Ab Nicholas Scholarship Foundation seeks to make a college degree affordable for Wisconsin high school students who participate as players or managers in their school’s basketball program. Need-based scholarships, renewable annually, are offered for two- and four-year programs at any University of Wisconsin System school. The Ab Nicholas Scholarship Foundation accepts applications from qualifying seniors each year between February 1 and April 30. Scholarship recipients will be notified no later than June 30th at the email address on file.

To apply for this scholarship you will need to write an essay of less than 1000 words on the following topic: Describe the three characteristics of leadership you value most. Discuss why you believe that these traits are so important and how you feel that they are developed in an individual. Wisconsin Towns Association 2019 Scholarship Essay Program: https://www.wisctowns.com/resources/scholarship/ Entrants must prepare an essay addressing the 2019 WTA Scholarship program topic: Explain the importance of high speed broadband access to town economic and community development. The typed essay should be between 500 and 1,000 words and double spaced. Essays must include a bibliographic listing of sources used. The completed essay and additional document (found on the website) should be postmarked no later than May 31, 2019 and mailed to Wisconsin Towns Association, W7686 County Road MMM, Shawano, WI 54166-6086. Seven $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.
2019 Hammett, Bellin & Oswald Law & Justice Scholarship: http://hbolawfirm.com/law-justice-scholarship/ This $750 scholarship is for all first-year college freshmen who will be attending an accredited College/University during the 2019-2020 school year. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required and the application deadline is May 31, 2019.

All student athletes are eligible for this $500 award, regardless of which sport they are participating in. Their participation may be in any capacity, whether as a player, coach, or official. The Recovery Village Healthcare Scholarship: https://www.therecoveryvillage.com/scholarships/ The Recovery Village is offering a $1,000 scholarship to students pursuing a medical-related course of study. To enter to win a $1,000 scholarship, simply submit a short essay (no more than 500 words) describing why you are passionate about substance use disorder and mental health treatment. Essays can be in the form of a personal narrative with a medical perspective or focus specifically on clinical experience. The deadline is June 30, 2019.
