Naomi is passionate about transforming literacy education as an ELA Specialist, where she partners with K-12 schools to strengthen literacy instruction and empower educators. She designs engaging professional learning experiences that meet teachers where they are, offering both onsite coaching and collaborative support that helps educators bring research-based strategies to life in their classrooms. Working closely with school and district leaders, Naomi ensures that professional development aligns meaningfully with local goals and Georgia’s learning standards, always keeping student success at the center of her work.
With over 10 years of experience, Naomi brings extensive knowledge in curriculum development, data-driven instruction, and educational leadership. She holds an Education Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College, a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Secondary English from Kennesaw State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in History from Young Harris College. Naomi holds certifications in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as in the Content areas of English, Middle Grades Social Science, Gifted Education, and AP Capstone.
Her areas of expertise include educational assessment and data analysis, curriculum development and implementation, research-based instructional practices, and cross-functional team leadership. Naomi is skilled in transforming data into clear, actionable steps that teachers can implement with ease, developing targeted intervention strategies, and creating comprehensive professional development that drives instructional improvement across content areas.

We support educators in aligning classroom instruction to the Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE) and integrating the Science of Reading and best instructional practices in literacy. Our support spans K–12, with a special focus on reading comprehension, writing instruction, text complexity, and vocabulary development.
