Title 1

What is Title I ? 

Title I provides funds for academic and/or social-emotional interventions to students who are in need of extra support to help meet state standards. 

What does Title I look like at our school?

Newman Grove Public School uses WIN TIME which stands for WHAT I NEED time. Each grade level has a WIN Time built into their schedule and it is used to focus on giving extra support for reading and math skills through smaller groups. We use our Dibels 8th/mClass Benchmark Data to help us develop and guide these groups throughout the school year.
