Welcome to my portfolio! My name is Cristina Hanzel, and I am in my fifth year as a 5th grade teacher. I live with my family outside of Newman Grove. We enjoy spending time outside and taking care of our animals. I am a crafter and I love to create pieces of decor for one to display in their home.

I am currently teaching in my hometown of Newman Grove, NE. I have the privilege of teaching ELA, Science, and Social Studies to the students in my homeroom. I also spend time working with students in lower elementary classrooms through interventions.

I completed my masters in Curriculum and Instruction through the Wayne State College Community of Learners program in May of 2021. I have gained a plethora of experience in relationships, constructivism, understanding the brain and delivery of content, assessment, and so much more.
